The float plane dock, as shown on the aerodrome diagram, is part of the Brewery Bay Marina but is administered and maintained separately by a committee of float plane owners. The dock is available for use by itinerant aircraft subject to space availability and payment of the
prescribed moorage fee. Contact 867-332-1663 or 250-651-7542 to arrange for use. Atlin now has cellular phone service so no difficulty should be encountered making contact.
No permanent moorage is currently available.
Current fees are $20.00 for day use (pick up, drop off) or $30.00 for overnight. Fees may be deposited in the lock box on the dock, paid at the Brewery Bay Chalet or by contacting the dock operator at the above phone numbers. If you will be making repeated trips to CAD6, seasonal pick-up and drop off privilege scan be purchased for $100.00. No one likes fees, but the dock was built by and is maintained by local pilots without government assistance. Moor elsewhere on the rocks if you think that would be cheaper.
Note that, despite what the aerodrome diagram shows, there is no fuel available at CAD6. However, fuel is available at CYSQ.
All pilots using the dock must be prepared to provide proof of liability insurance in at least the amounts required by Transport Canada.
